To my 3rd born:
Dear Jax,
Oh how I love you. I am sorry that you got the short stick in the draw and that you are now and will forever be the 3rd child.

Mani-pedis
In February Dave took all the Taylor boys (minus Chad and Morgan) to the Monster Truck show and had a Boys Only Club meeting. So we girls (and Jaxon) had our own Girls meeting at the Nail Salon. It was Kennedy's first mani-pedi and she LOVED it. One of my favorite things about Miss Kennedy is that she loves to wrestle and be rough and tumble BUT she also enjoys being girly too.

Carter!
We had the honor of watching another nephew/cousin get baptised. We are so proud of him and are grateful for the example he is to our kids. While we waited for him to get changed his primary asked us to write/draw him a letter. I thought it was a great idea and hope he pulls out all the letters every once in awhile to read why he is so special.
Carter and his Mom.
Carter and his Proud Papa.

Mugwumps!
When I was little my uncle used to call my brother and I mugwumps. (I later learned that was a type of Indian dwelling) but to me it will always be a term of endearment. That said here are two of my favorite "mugwumps"

Easter!
Like all Holidays Easter came and left before we knew it. This year on the egg hunt it was quite cold so we went, we hunted and then we came home. We did make the time to dye some eggs and Kennedy had a blast at her class party. She did NOT want me to wash her face much more than a minute before bed. I LOVE Easter time. I love the eagerness of spring creeping in, the feeling of new beginnings and the chance to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and see the gentle reminders that are evidence of our Savior and Heavenly Father.
This year the Easter Bunny thought ahead and instead of bringing baskets he brought the kids their treasures in suitcases for our Taylor Family trip. The kids were so excited to have their own luggage.
