David was whining about something awhile back and I couldn't figure what he wanted let alone what he was even saying and Kennedy turned to me and told me what he wanted and then she said "I speak Bubba-nese"
David: "Mom, I really e-joyed my lunch." Seriously the kid is a crack-up
Dave (dripping with sarcasim): "Somebody is NOT cranky today!"
David: "Yes I am, I'm totally cranky!"
*Mom: "David your silly"
David(Bubba): " I sure am"
*Kennedy: "I have to change my shirt"
Mom: "that is the 5th shirt today you will just have to wear that one"
Kennedy: "Its wet, thats for sure"
* Bubba: "I'm workin' it mom!" while trying to take is jamas off or put his shoes on
*Kennedy: "it certainly in foggy out here"
*Mom: "Kennedy what would you like for lunch?"
Kennedy: "A girl cheese not a boy cheese"
*Kennedy: "Mom i have to take my baby to the hopsital (aka the hospital)
Mom: "How come?"
Kennedy: "Because she has hicc-ups all over her body"
*Bubba: "Wisiti (Kristi) help i tuck, Rampa help, Ariel help i tuck" while watching little mermaid on our way home from California
*David (Bubba): " I'm tuck"
Kennedy: "You're posed to be stuck" while driving home from California
*I have noticed the last couple of days when Kennedy is telling me something that she says"Be-so" which she uses when explaining or describing things as best as I can describe it she is combining "because" and "so that"
*On Sunday Kennedy, who was beyond tired, wanted a cookie and I told her she had to finish eating her dinner before she could have any treats to which a complete and total meltdown occured. During which, she trying to express exactly how mad at me she was, yelled "You're crazy"
*Last night was bath night and we were trying to hurry the kids along with their playing which isn't to hard to do for David but Kennedy LOVES the tub and so when i told her it was time to get washed and get out she said "Just a few more days please?"
*Yesterday I ran to the store to pick up some tissues for our constantly running noses and Kennedy asked if I would get her a sucker and I told her not today and so she started pouting and told me "I quit!" And so I said "Oh good me too!"
*There is a universal code that parents use when they need a particular child to do or not do something and that is to use the full name. For example when Kennedy is hugging David a little to tight after being asked mulitple times to stop I might say "Kennedy Ann Taylor leave your brother alone!" Well, now when little miss smarty pants wants David to quite messing up her tea set she say's "David Ann Taylor don't do that"
*One day a week or so ago I gave Kennedy some Cheetos with her lunch. I asked her to pull the sleeves of the white shirt she was wearing up (in hopes of minimizing the spread of cheese dust) and told her not to touch anything until I had wiped her hands off. Well not 2 seconds had passed when she was wiping her fingers on her shirt. I asked her why she did that and she said "But mom that is where my itch lives"
