So the rest of Christmas played out like this. We went over to Bruce and Kristis to see Daves brother Jason, his sister Genny and their families and opened more presents. The kids each got a pair of slippers that Kristi made them they are awesome and the kids wear them all the time. Among other great gifts David got a new set of tools which sometimes doubles as swords. And the highlight for Kennedy was a camera.
Grandpa reading the kids one of their new books:
After some fun with cousins we went to my family so we could see my little bro before he had to go to work. Grandma and Grandpa Moody gave the kiddos some flashlights (so they could open something on Christmas) to go with their new tree ornaments they got the day after Thanksgiving. And true to the saying that great things come in small packages the flashlights were a hit. I think David burned the batteries out in both of them before the day was even over. He will tell anyone he meets that he is a "guard' just like Tyrone from the Backyardigans cartoon and say "Who goes there" and "On guard, Guard"! complete with flashlight batteries or not.

Wow, I'm impressed with those slippers. They look real cute from what I can see. Cute story about the flashlights, those lucky ducks.
