For all of you who have been holding your breath for the next installment here on our family blog you can breath easy now. Your wait is over! So..... lets get right to it shall we?
First. On November 22, 2009 our sweet little Jaxon was blessed. Dave gave a beautiful blessing and we were able to share it with almost all of our family. My big brother and his family drove all they way up from Phoenix to be here which meant the world to us. So a big shout out to them!
Here are some of Jax's many faces.
While Ryan and his family were here we took full advantage of their time and played and played and played. We went bowling and to movies and celebrated 3 (that's right 3) birthdays! Uncle Tyson and the Arizonians themselves Ryan and Debbie. Tysons was earlier in the week so we went to dinner and then the girls snuck in a movie. Tyson is the best! He is always so eager and willing to help whenever and however he can.He works hard and plays just as hard. We love him to pieces. Thursday (Thanksgiving) was Debbies actual birthday and so we had a yummy feast and birthday cake and presents. We are so thankful she is a part of our family. She is an amazing mom ,extremely creative, incredibly thoughtful and keeps me in awe with all she does. They had to leave the next day which was Ryans actual birthday so the cake was a 2 for 1 both of their favorites in one. Ryan is a great big brother! Bubba thinks he is pretty stinkin' cool because he has real guns and gets to drive a police car. I think Ryan is pretty cool too and wish they lived closer so we could see them more often!
Grandma and Grandpa Moody gave all of us new ornaments on Thanksgiving to hang on our Christmas tree. It was a flurry of excitement and so i wasn't able to catch everyone opening their fun treasures but here are a few of the ones i did catch
CHRISTMAS 2009
Christmas Eve we spent out at Grandma and Grandpa Kellys. The food was so yummy and completely Gluten Free which is a gift in of itself. The kids had so much fun playing with cousins and uncles. That the presents were just the cherry on top. As you can see the gifts were a hit and the new 'jamas weren't bad either. The only thing that could have made the night even better was getting see the Texas Taylors.. maybe next year!
Christmas Morning was so much fun! The kids almost didn't know where to begin. But it didn't take long before they had ripped open every box in sight and were ready to begin putting things together. Davids big gift was his new car booster seat! Which i was equally excited about. Kennedy got a Leap Frog computer and karaoke type sing game! Santa brought Dave a new basketball and a pair of new shoes. As for me i must have been super good because he brought me the Nikon D3000 camera and glass top for my table and my new favorite hat(think Thoroughly Modern Millie). Yea!
After playing for a bit we headed over to Grandma Kristi and Grandpa Bruces. Where we munched on some delicious cinnamon rolls and a breakfast casserole. Soon came cousins and the house was full of laughing and chatting about new treasures. I must say that is my favorite part of Christmas. Simply spending time with family is the best gift. Here are a few of my favorite moments and people i caught on my new camera.

And then if that wasn't enough we went to Grandma and Grandpa Moodys. I realized later that i was too busy playing and learning about my new camera with my dad that i didn't take that many pictures but here are a few of kids soaking in more family memories. We were able to see Tyson and Danielle for a few minutes before they left to get some much needed sleep. Uncle Alex was there too so we only missed out on Uncle Sean who was in California, the Arizona Moodys and Grandma Kiki who was in Michigan.
Thank you to all of you who made our Holidays so much fun. For all the presents, family fun and memories.
